Sessions can be snuggled up in your home, on site somewhere meaningful to your family, or simply playing outdoors in this beautiful place we call home! 

As for multiple locations, yes! I love getting a variety of photos for my families! Changes in scenery can be magical and add depth to the feeling and memories you want to time stamp.  During full sessions, 2nd locations close by to our staring place (for example a park down the street from your home session) are easy to accommodate.  Further locations that require more time during or after the session may be subject to an additional  fee.  Additional locations are to be discussed/agreed upon and added to your booking contract prior to our session date. 

*All sessions include a travel range of 25 miles from Alameda, CA 94501.  Longer distances are subject to an added travel fee as needed.

I don't know about your kids, but mine seem to take an eternity to simply get their shoes on to leave the house! Let alone participate in a photoshoot! 

Removing the stress of a strict timeline for sessions allows for 

Isn't an hour or more too long for kids? I'm worried mine can't do it. 

What about mini sessions? Can we just do one of those instead? 

Mini Sessions are offered a couple of times a year and are scheduled in groups of 3 or more families back to back.   As they need to be planned out well in advance, minis are not available individually throughout the year.  These sessions run 10 minutes in length and are more posed than my full lifestyle sessions due to the nature of how short they are but i still aim to get some special candid real family moments for you! You will have a gallery size of approximately 25+ images to choose your selections from.  Of course, should you fall in love with them all, an option to upgrade to a full gallery collection is available.   

*** If you have a kiddo who has significant struggles with being in new places or with new people, a full session in a familiar place, or at home would be a better fit in order to help ease them into the process and have a much better outcome.

Our child is, or is suspected to be, neurodivergent, do you have any tips for a successful session experience?

I do! I was a teacher for over a decade and I am a mom of 2 neurodivergent kiddos so this topic is close to my heart. 

First - Let's communicate about everyones' needs beforehand! We want this to be the best possible experience for them and you!  Some things to consider:

•If your child is made uncomfortable by new places and or new people it might be best to work inside your home or in very familiar spaces rather than trying to go to a specific unfamiliar location.
•If your child doesn't like to make eye contact- lets not try to make them! This is your authentic family- lets keep it real!
•If they are extremely sound sensitive let me know and I can turn my shutter sound off.
•If they hate wearing shoes - lets just take them off! Unlike mine, kids feet are super cute! 
The less pressure we put on children the more chance we have to capture their beautiful authentic selves! We will make this beautiful by working together and taking the weight off of the children.

••Most importantly fill me in BEFORE the shoot. Help me best prepare for your family session by giving me a heads up on any possible triggers for your family and some of the things they do love- so that I can be ready to help them relax and have fun with my camera near by so we can capture the beauty and wonder of your awesome family!

How does payment for our session work, and what methods of payment are accepted? 

I currently take Paypal, Venmo, Visa & Mastercard.  Credit card payments can easily be made directly through your client portal invoice tab. 

When booking a session, a non refundable session fee is required to reserve your date and time in my schedule and covers the time during our session together. Once your session fee has been remitted and your contract is complete- your spot in my schedule is confirmed!
